WE DEVELOPED OUR MASTERPIECE IN INNOVATION IN AQUACULTURE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF TRADITIONAL SHRIMP PRODUCTION, WITHOUT ANTIBIOTICS, AND NEAR THE CONSUMER.

Thanks to this hardware we are able to install farms anywhere on the planet, close to cities and disconnected from the natural environment, offering consumers full transparency. Thanks to the innovation in aquaculture, the farms can produce shrimp ethically without using chemicals or antibiotics and can be consumed hours after harvest.

that allows us to produce shrimp without water exchange, without antibiotics, and without abusive labor practices.

Shrimpbox mimics an ideal breeding environment and manages the complexity of the microbial community.

All relevant workflows are mapped to deal with data complexity. This also enables consistency and makes it easy to train and perform farming tasks and operations.

that allows for consistency of cultivation and economic viability in countries with high labor costs.

Automated systems make it possible to remotely monitor water quality, regulate temperature and oxygenation and feed the shrimp.

HOW IT WRKS

Incorporated sensors that measure the concentrations of oxygen, temperature, PH, NO2, NO3, NH4N, turbidity, and alkalinity of the water.

It connects to our software Atarraya via cloud computing, feeding data and receiving instructions that are automatically executed.

Farm personnel only need to monitor the operation of the electrical and mechanical systems and feed the shrimp.

Users with a “Farm administrator role” in Atarraya can create tasks to be executed on a daily basis or extraordinary interventions.

At Atarraya, we depart from the industrial production paradigm and looking innovation in aquaculture to find a solution. We are convinced that no amount of engineering can compete with Natural Selection’s ability to optimize for every considerable variable. So, we framed the nitrogen cycle problem in a way that enables us to learn from Nature.

The result: Biofloc, the magic behind our production. Biofloc is a naturally occurring process that happens in the oceans and helps with one of the biggest problems in shrimp production: nitrogen sequestration. With this, we don’t need to use antibiotics or wastewater, because biofloc helps keep everything in balance.
